Datacom Systems, Inc., based in Columbia, South Carolina, was established to provide industrial and commercial clients in the Southeast with labeling systems for variable data and graphics imprinting. The company’s labeling systems include stock, custom and variable printed bar code labels.
In 1990 a new division was established to address the increasing demand for bar coding equipment. The equipment division initially handled several lines of thermal bar code printers that complemented our label products. Datacom’s equipment line is now considered one of the most comprehensive in the industry. Our products include not only the top thermal transfer printer manufacturers, but also a growing line of data capture equipment. These include; Symbol, Intermec, Telxon, Compsee, Percon, PSC, Metrologic and printers to include Zebra, TEC, Sato, Eltron, Datamax, RJS, to mention a few. |
